Sugar plum, my darlin’

Here at Mama Z’s we’ve made a couple of attempts at a plum pie. It has been a “Goldilocks” story: “This one’s too tart,” “this one’s too sweet,” “this one is too mushy,” “this one is too tough.” Red plums, purple plums . . . so many things to think about!

We’re getting close though. This one is almost “just right.”
